| Unseen Time: 30minutes30days, 2009 charcoal on studio wall, overall dimensions 200 x 250 cm Centre for Recent Drawing (C4RD), London one-month online residency Tracing the dimensions of the wall space with my hands to locate my position exemplified my experience in this work, which was created with my eyes closed for a minute each day over the 30 days of the month-long residency. I drew spontaneously for one minute moving back and forth along the studio wall marking the surface with charcoal, allowing my movement to determine the outcome. |
